Terms of Service

01The service

Venus is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Once an AI assistant is connected to it, the assistant can use these Venus tools on your behalf:

• Venus Search, answered by the Venus model Pro 1.
• Based, which returns current facts from a live web search.
• Reality 1, which makes images.
• Reality 1 Pro, which expands an idea into a detailed brief and makes the image from it.
• Design 1, which designs interface mockups.
• Tempo 1, which makes short music tracks.
• Scourer 1, which writes multi-source research reports.
• Trail 1, which writes and saves step by step build plans.

Venus is run by an individual operator based in Western Australia, referred to here as we or us. There are no accounts. Anyone with the server address can connect to it.

02Accepting these terms

By connecting an assistant to Venus, calling its tools, or using this website, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Venus. If you use Venus for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use Venus.

03Pricing and limits

Venus is free until 25 March 2027. Until then the only limits we set are fair-use allowances that keep it available to everyone: Tempo 1 makes one track per IP address every 5 hours through a connector and one per network each day in the playground, and the playground has hourly allowances for each mode, shown on the page. A request that fails does not count against them. After 25 March 2027 we may introduce charges or usage limits. We will post any change on this website at least 30 days before it takes effect, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.

Some tools depend on quotas held by the providers behind Venus. Scourer 1 and Tempo 1 in particular have daily limits. When a quota runs out, the tool reports the time it resets and stays unavailable until then. This is not a breach of the free offer, which means we do not charge you. The offer does not promise that every tool is available at every moment.

04Acceptable use

You must not use Venus to:

• break any law, or help someone else break one;
• create or share sexual content involving minors, or sexual or intimate imagery of a real person without their consent;
• harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone, or produce material meant to deceive people into believing it is real, such as fake documents, fake reviews or misleading deepfakes;
• infringe someone else's copyright, trade marks or other rights;
• write or deliver malware, run attacks on other systems, or collect personal information about people without a lawful basis;
• overload, probe or disrupt Venus, get around its limits, or send requests at a volume that degrades the service for other people;
• resell or rebrand Venus as your own service without our written permission.

We may refuse, block or cut off any use that we reasonably believe breaks this section.

05Your content and outputs

You keep whatever rights you have in the prompts and material you send. You give us permission to process them, and to pass them to the providers described below, only as far as needed to run your request.

As between you and us, we claim no ownership of the answers, images, music or reports Venus produces for you. You are responsible for how you use them. Generated media can carry a provider's invisible watermark, and some files are named to show this.

Venus is built on AI models, and their output can be wrong, out of date, incomplete or offensive, even when sources are listed. Check anything important before you rely on it. Output from Venus is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

06Generated files

Images and music are stored on our server under a long random file name and returned to you as a link. Anyone who has the link can open the file, so share it with care. Files are deleted automatically about 24 hours after they are made. Download anything you want to keep.

07Third-party services

Venus relies on third-party AI, search and hosting providers to work. Your use of Venus does not create any agreement between you and those providers. Their availability, their limits and changes they make can affect Venus without notice, and we are not responsible for their services.

08Availability and changes

We try to keep Venus running, but we do not promise it will always be available, fast or error free. We may change, pause or stop any tool or the whole service at any time. Unfinished jobs, follow-up conversations and stored files can be lost when the server restarts.

09Warranties and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Apart from those rights, Venus is provided as is and as available, without any other warranty. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit or opportunity, arising from your use of Venus. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

You are responsible for claims made against us that arise from your breach of these terms or from how you use Venus's output, except to the extent we caused the loss.

10Suspension and ending

You can stop using Venus at any time by disconnecting it from your assistant. We may suspend or end your access at any time, including for a breach of these terms. The sections on your content, warranties and liability, and governing law continue to apply after your use ends.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the courts that hear appeals from them.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. For a change that materially reduces your rights, we will give at least 14 days notice on this website first. Using Venus after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
